Winnie Lee Rogers, age 84, died Sunday, July 18, 2010 in Tyler, Texas. She was born Wednesday, January 6, 1926 in McColl, South Carolina to the late Thomas and Lillian Lewis. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mineola, Texas and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is preceded in death by her husband; James Rogers and a brother; Thomas Otley Lewis, Jr.
She is survived by a son; Kenneth Rogers and wife Paulette of Lubbock, Texas, a daughter; Jacquelyn Land of Irving, Texas, a sister; Rosenell Vandeusen of Franklinton, North Carolina,
Five grandchildren; Kevin Land, Eli Land, Jenny Smith, Justin Rogers, Adrianne Sloman and five great-grandchildren; Keely Land, Kurtis Land, Katie Land, James Land and Samuel Smith.
