Winnie Hazelwood Whittington

Mrs. Winnie Hazelwood Whittington, age 92 of Mineola, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 in Mineola. She was born on March 5, 1928 in Terrell, Texas. She was retired from Bank of America and a member of Harvest Acres Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by husbands, John Hazelwood in 2000 and Dillard Whittington in 2015, one son James Hazelwood in 2019, and one granddaughter, Angela Bell.

She is survived by sons, Barry Hazellwood and Thomas Hazelwood. Three grandchildren, Sandra Hazelwood-Gray, Erin Shelley and Scott Hazelwood and ten great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 22, 2020 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Beaty Funeral Home 5320 S. State Hwy. 37 Mineola, TX 75773. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. David Burcham conducting.

nterment will be at Oakland Cemetery in Terrell, Texas.
