Yancey Lanell Winkle

Mrs. Yancey Lanell Winkle, age 82 of Winnsboro, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 28, 2021 at her home. She was born on October 17, 1938 in Franklin County to the late George Bolding and Margaret Bolding. Mrs. Lanell was a loving mother, homemaker and worked at Edward Jones. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Winnsboro where she was an office volunteer and coordinated the church nursery for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Charlie Winkle in 2018. She is survived by her son, Tim Winkle and wife Karen of Winnsboro; daughter, Marja Gibson and husband, Pete of Winnsboro; brother, Jerry Bolding and wife Marilyn; grandchildren, Hylan and Joe Pickett, Chelsey and Mark Sacrey, Cortland and Haley Winkle, and Ashten and Cameron Fatland; great grandchildren, Braden, Logan, Chloe, Jackson, Carley, Quinn, Cambrie, Payton. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX 75494. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at First Baptist Church - Winnsboro 200 W. Broadway Winnsboro, Texas 75494 at 2:00 pm, Dr. David Rose conducting. Interment will follow at Willard Cemetery in Winnsboro, with Cortland Winkle, Mark Sacrey, Joe Pickett, Cameron Fatland, Braden Sacrey, Logan Sacrey, Jackson Pickett, Quinn Pickett serving as pallbearers.
