Zack Kendrick Kirbo was born on December 22, 1964, in Mt. Vernon, Texas, to the late Patrick Lee Kirbo and Emily Rose McCauley. He peacefully passed away on July 23, 2024, in a Tyler hospice facility. Zack was also preceded in death by his uncle, Zack Blair Kirbo.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving sister, Patsy Rose Kirbo Arcega; devoted cousins, Darrell McCauley and Barbara McCauley Hill; numerous nieces, nephews, and his cherished companion, Sweet Pea, his cat.
Zack spent his formative years in Wills Point until the 6th grade when he moved to Tyler. He graduated from John Tyler High School in 1983 and began his career as a stocker at B-Mart in Tyler. His dedication led him to a twenty-year tenure at Tyler Pipe in various roles. Following this, he pursued his passion for automotive work when a friend offered him a position at Anderson's Automotive near Chandler. When the opportunity arose, Zack took over and established his own business. He later relocated the shop to Tyler, where he built and expanded it behind his home.
Raised attending the First Baptist Church in Wills Point and later the Chapel of the Lake, Zack's faith was an integral part of his life. During his teenage years, he attended Hepsibah Baptist Church.
Zack had a zest for life that manifested in his love for fishing, drag racing, and diving into a good book. His warm smile and generous spirit touched the lives of many, and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
